Book 1 Project: Gone Girl Mystery Kit

This is the moment in the book where I even started to question Nick. Through the diary entries of his parts in the book he vividly describes how he doesn’t want to seem likes has been too involved or say the wrong thing. In cases like this I understand the fright that he may possess but I don’t see how you can be too worried when the truth always has a sense of power to it. Also at the same time he says, “Wait, wait, wait. Have you found something that makes you think my wife was..”. This had interested me as well because at this time the police were checking Nick’s finger prints to check his hands for any type of gun residue. When the police ask Nick if he is okay and says, “Fine by me”, raises question by police. Everyone in the town believes that Nick has done something to Amy. The only person that believes Nick is himself, and sometimes that’s all you need but in this case with no evidence and information, it’s just not.
